Netflix Favourites - iZombie

I have been watching a lot of Netflix's Lately, from catching up on Scream & Once Upon A Time. Oh & this month's favourite has taken up so much of my time. I found iZombie a while ago and added it to my To Watch List, but never got round to watching it for some reason. Anyway I decided to watch it and I fell in love straight away! 

I love a good Zombie movie/TV programme (The Walking Dead) but the thing I love about iZombie is it's not your average Zombie movie or programme. They live amongst the living as long as they get to eat human brains. I'm also a huge lover of CSI, and this is the Zombie version. Without spoiling it for anyone who is going to watch it.

When a Zombie eats a human brain they take on that persons feeling, emotions and they also get their memories. You follow a girl called Liv, who is a zombie and works in a morgue. She eats the brains of the people who have been murdered and helps a cop with their investigation. Each episode is a different murder, but as the seasons go on it does become more about Liv and her friends than the actual murder investigations. 

I think I started watching it about 2 weeks ago, maybe less than that and I have nearly finished season 2. I am going to be so upset when I have finished it because then I will have to find something new to watch. 

If anyone has any recommendations please let me, I am going to need something to fill this void in my life.

Life Update #1

Things have been a little bit hectic this week hence my post being a bit late. I have been helping my mum with her business and with it being Christmas she has lots of orders and events. Being the brilliant daughter that I am I offered to help out, So we have been busy little bee's. 

I thought I would share with you all what we have been up to and give you a little insight into what I have been creating. I love making cute little bows, earrings and hair brushes mostly. Anything little and Kawaii is my favourite.

My most favourite make has to be my little Kawaii pastel star stud earrings. I love the pretty colours and come on you can't say they are not adorable. I just want every colour star in the whole world and I would be happy for life.

Other than this I haven't really been up to much as I haven't been sleeping very well lately. I'm up all night and sleep all day. It's a pain in the bum but unfortunately I am starting to get used to it.

Party lite Candle Review - Hocus Pocus

Last month I went to a Party Lite party at my friends house and it would have been rude not to buy anything. I love little tealights as I think it is the perfect way to try out a scent and also you can get lots of different scents to switch it up and change it round. 

The party was really fun as you got to learn all bout the company and what products they have out (Plus smell all the candles before you decide which one you would like to buy.) The lady who did the party is called Annette and she is brilliant, If you are local to Cheshire and would be interested in having a party I will have the link to her page down below.  I finally decided on these Tealights called 'Hocus Pocus' as it was the week before Halloween and I thought the Green would be brilliant for Halloween. Also you got six Green and six Purple tealights, so I believe I got the best of both worlds. However they are the same scent just a different colour. One of the things that really caught my eye about these was their name. Just like nail polish names catch my eye, I'm sure they do this to me on purpose. Hocus Pocus is my all time Halloween movie, every Halloween without fail I will watch it and now I can say I have the candles to match. They do also smell divine.

Lady and the Tramp

I watched Lady and the tramp for the first time the other day and 5 minutes in I fell in love with lady, which is weird as I am not an animal person. If anything I am terrified of animals especially dogs, but now I want my own little lady. Another thing, Why has it taken me so long to watch this film??!! Since watching this for the first time the other day I have now watched it 3 or 4 times because I am in love with it.

One thing that freaks me out is the Siamese cats. I don’t know if it’s just me but they really scare me more than any of the other Disney Villains. It’s the song they sing that just gives me the creeps and how they walk around. I do not mean this in a horrible way, but it does make me feel very uncomfortable. 

I don’t know if anyone else notices that so many of the Disney movies have the same voices, so now I am always listening trying to guess who they are in other films. I recognised Lady’s voice straight away and I couldn’t work out where from for ages. I kicked myself when I found out she is the voice of Merry weather in Sleeping Beauty. 

Please tell me I’m not the only one who does this?

I couldn’t find any Easter Eggs, I don’t know if this is because it is one of the earlier Disney Films before Easter Eggs were fashionable. If I missed any please let me know.

My Five Beauty Must Haves

Everyone has those five beauty products they just can’t live without, whether it is for your hair, nails, skin, Bath & Body or make up. So today I thought I would share mine with you, Firstly it has got to be my foundation. I cannot do my make up without having a good foundation; lately I have been using Benefit’s HelloFlawless Oxygen Wow in the shade ‘I’m so honey.’ This is the perfect shade for me and I like how it is so lightweight. I don’t like a heavy foundation, but I like it to look as though I have foundation on. It’s just a good all round foundation for what I need and like. 

Secondly is my nail glue. I know this doesn’t sound very exciting but over the years I have found that the key to keeping your false nails on for longer is all in the glue and not so much the false nails themselves (At least that is my opinion.) I have been using Nailene Ultra Quick Glue for around a year now and I would not go back.  I buy lots of different brands of false nails depending on design normally or shape but I will also throw away the glue that comes with them and buy my Nailene glue separately. It is a more expensive way of doing it  but once you find a product you like it is hard to change your ways, more so when you know it works so why change it.

My favourite blusher is MAC Dollymix, It is a gorgeous shade of pink. To look at it, it looks very bright, but when applied to your cheeks it isn’t as bright. You don’t need much just a little swirl, and you can always build it up depending on what look you are going for. I use this nearly every day and I still haven’t hit pan after a year of having it.  One of the many reasons I love MAC products, they last for a very long time.

My whole Bath & Body care is pretty much Soap & Glory, I have I have a few of their scents but my all time favourite is Sugar Crush. I love how refreshing it smells. I have just literally realised what it smells like and now I’m so excited. It smells like Refresher sweet. Can’t believe it has taken me so long to realise this.

Anyway, one of the products I cannot live without is the body spray. I have them spread around all over the place so I can never run out.  

The last one of my must haves is my Tangle Teezer. I am a really restless sleeper and when I get up my hair is awful to brush, since getting my Tangle Teezer life has been so much easier as I can now brush my hair without it hurting when I’m trying to get all the tangles out. I actually don’t know how I could go back to a normal brush again. 

I’d love to know what your Beauty Must have’s are, as I would love to try some of them out for myself.
